The First Love Story: Adam, Eve & Us
A Reading by Author Bruce Feiler
Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 6:15 – 8:00 pm
Brooklyn Heights Synagogue, 131 Remsen Street

St. Ann’s is co-hosting a reading by New York Times columnist and PBS host Bruce Feiler from his latest book, The First Love Story: Adam, Eve & Us. Feiler is a member of Brooklyn Heights Synagogue and the author of Walking the Bible.

In his new book, Feiler “travels from the Garden of Eden in Iraq to the Sistine Chapel in Rome, from John Milton’s London to Mae West’s Hollywood, discovering how Adam and Eve should be hailed as exemplars of a long-term, healthy, resilient relationship. At a time of discord and fear over the strength of our social fabric, Feiler shows how history’s first couple can again be role models for unity, forgiveness, and love.”

All are encouraged to attend what is sure to be a fascinating consideration of a biblical narrative embraced by many faiths.
