Conversation on Race

Sacred Conversation on Race
Sunday, January 15, 12:45 – 2:00 pm
Our “Sacred Conversations on Race” continues on Sunday, January 15, following the 11:15 am Holy Eucharist, facilitated by St. Ann’s Wisdom Year Resident, Dr. Matthew Burdette. Francesca Norsen Tate described the series and its context in her September 23, 2016, Brooklyn Eagle article.
We are motivated to host these occasional discussions by recent and ongoing incidents of violence and dignity violations against people of color, and our commitment as a community of faith to the inherent value of every person.
The conversations are intended to create a context in which people can speak and listen to one another, learn about one another’s experiences, and cooperate in addressing racism in the wider community.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
