“Bending Toward Justice” Voting Rights Webinar

St. Ann’s Outreach Committee invites you to an upcoming webinar and Black History Month event sponsored by the Forum @ St. Ann’s entitled: “Bending Toward Justice: Preserving Voting Rights and Voter Access for All in New York and the Nation.” Join notable panelists, Deacon Jerry Ford (Spokesperson for the Souls the Polls Initiative, Troy, NY), Perry Grossman (Supervising Attorney for the NYCLU Voting Rights Project), Lindsay McKenzie (NYS Asst. Attorney General, Civil Rights Division) and moderator the Hon. Betty E. Staton (Retired NYS Judge and Servant Leader at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Brooklyn) for a conversation about the history of voter suppression, fixing a still broken voting system and the historic role of the church in delivering souls to the polls.
