Birding in Brooklyn Heights
September 15, 2019 @ 12:45 pm - 1:30 pm

Neighbors and friends are invited to join us this first segment of Instruments of Peace, a new program devoted to St. Francis and his love of animals and peace. St. Ann’s parishioner Donna Evans, an experienced birdwatcher, will lead a birding tour of Brooklyn Heights to discover and appreciate the birds sheltered in the bushes and trees of Brooklyn Heights. Birders will be aided by an original illustrated guide by Donna, who is also an artist.
Instruments of Peace is an original, arts-based, multi-general curriculum conceived by our clergy and funded with a grant for congregational development by Episcopal Ministries of Long Island. Designed for parishioners and neighbors of all ages, the program will celebrate the life and legacy of St. Francis and his concern for peace building. Please join us of any and all of the following:
