Church as Sacrament: Past and Future

February 1, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

We will welcome the Rt. Rev. William Franklin, Assisting Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, on Saturday, February 1, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, to explore how our landmark church building, the Pro-Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, reflects God’s purpose and our call to serve this community and beyond. Bishop Bill, a new assisting bishop in our diocese, is the retired bishop of Western New York, as well as a former seminary dean and historian. His presentation will highlight defining eras at both St. Ann’s Church and the Church of the Holy Trinity and examine the commitment to pursue social justice in both parishes over many generations, with an eye toward shaping future ministry here.

Bishop Bill will return to preach on themes drawn from his presentation on Sunday, February 2, at 9:30 am Early Church and the 11:15 am Holy Eucharist. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us!
