Please join us after church on Sunday, October 31, as Fr. Matthew Moore, diocesan Missioner for Environmental Justice, and Mo. Marie Tatro — two of the leaders of our diocesan-wide Creation Care team — lead us in a timely discussion on Climate Justice.

Creation Care has never felt more urgent. As oil-covered animals come ashore in Southern California due to yet another oil-spill, and as we all endure the increasing severity and harm from storms, it would be easy to fall into despair about the current condition of God’s Creation. But there is still hope, and there are steps we can take to honor and live up to our calling to be good stewards of this planet, our beautiful island home, that God has placed into our care.

Fr. Matthew will also be our guest preacher at the 10:30 am traditional worship service in the sanctuary, and Mo. Marie will preach at the Family Church service in the Peace Garden.
