The Creation Care Community of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island invites St. Ann’s to attend an online workshop on disconnecting your personal finances from climate destruction. Michael Richardson, of the Rivers and Mountains GreenFaith Circle in upstate New York, will lead an interactive conversation. He will discuss how to move personal and organizational finances away from funding fossil fuel extraction, production and distribution, and instead to see your deposits, premiums and investments used to fund local businesses and farms, affordable housing, and development of regenerative clean energy. This a powerful step we can all take to support the transition to a just and sustainable society.
