June 2 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

St. Ann’s Outreach Committee invites the members and the wider community to an early Juneteenth screening of Rustin a powerful film about the life and legacy of Bayard Rustin, a civil rights leader and advisor to Martin Luther King, Jr.

Join us on Sunday, June 2, at 1:00pm in the parish hall to view this inspiring biopic.

Rustin chronicles the remarkable journey of Bayard Rustin, a true visionary who played a pivotal role in shaping the fight for racial equality in America. From his early days as a young activist to his instrumental role in organizing the historic March on Washington, Rustin’s story is one of courage, resilience, and unwavering dedication to justice.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about and engage in important, lesser-known chapters of the history of the civil rights movement. Popcorn will be served!
