Memorial Concert for John Randolph
February 24, 2018 @ 3:30 pm
FREE
Join us for a memorial concert on Saturday, February 24, at 3:30 pm in honor of John Randolph, our organ curator who died last summer . He and his staff have served as curators of this instrument since 1973. Due to John’s loving care and concern, our five-manual Skinner remains one of the finest organs in this city. It is fitting that the organ be featured as we remember John and his work.
The roster of guest organists includes George Davey, Claudia Dumschat, Michael Kaminski, Paul-Martin Maki, Maria Rayzvasser, and Federico Teti, as well as St. Ann’s Director of Music and Organist, Gregory D’Agostino, all performing on our landmark five-manual E.M. Skinner organ, Opus #524. This event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the concert.
Voluntary contributions to the Organ Restoration Fund in memory of John L. Randolph may be made here, at the door or by check payable to St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, memo line: “Organ Restoration Fund.”
