Paul Moses, Guest Preacher

Paul Moses, author of The Saint and the Sultan: The Crusades, Islam, and Francis of Assisi’s Mission of Peace, will be our preacher and presenter in the “Fostering Peace, Then and Now” segment of Instruments of Peace, a new program devoted to St. Francis and his efforts to achieve peace. Paul Moses, a former Newsday city editor and senior religion writer, is a professor of journalism at Brooklyn College and the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.
Instruments of Peace is an original, arts-based, multi-general curriculum conceived by our clergy and funded with a grant for congregational development by Episcopal Ministries of Long Island. Designed for parishioners and neighbors of all ages, the program will celebrate the life and legacy of St. Francis and his concern for peace building. Please join us of any and all of the following:
