PRIDE Month Compline
June 28, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church and Pro-Cathedral invites you to a Pride Month Compline, a contemplative service to celebrate strides made and mourn setbacks and losses endured by the LGBTQ+ community, this Sunday, June 28, 2020, at 7:00 pm. The service will be dedicated to the memory of the Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray, Esq., civil rights activist, theologian and first African American woman ordained in the Episcopal Church, whose commemoration in the liturgical calendar is July 1. Serving as guest homilist is the Rev. Marcea Paul, an assistant priest at Church of the Good Shepherd in Austin, Texas, and founding member of the Texas Pauli Murray Scholarship Committee to support theological education for women and men of color. A quartet of Compline choir members, directed by Episcopal Divinity School at Union seminarian, Carl Adair, will lead the service. Together we’ll center ourselves in the presence and care of God, and pray for the strength and commitment to realize God’s dream of justice and belonging for all. Registration to the event is required. Please join us!
