St. Ann’s Street Party!
September 10, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
We’re throwing ourselves a party and inviting the whole neighborhood! Please join us and tell all your friends.
Thanks to the Montague Street BID “Open Streets” series, we can be outside on Montague Street for back-to-back events, starting with a concert featuring Kyle Tigges at 3:00 pm, followed by a dance party with DJ 88s from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
Kyle Tigges shares a wide mix of upbeat and bittersweet tunes with folks of all ages in and around the NYC area. He has become a go-to musician for live music for many folks and frequents an eclectic mix of vibrant venues in his community. Keeping music local and bringing people together with music is one of the most powerful ways to boost environmental awareness and create the kind of change that is sustainable and regenerative as we work together towards a healthy, beautiful planet.
Growing up in Atlanta in the late 90s, Daniel Gura (aka DJ 88s) was schooled on southern hip hop, r&b and dancehall music. Providing the right song to move a crowd became infectious for him, and he found himself wanting to spin more and more. While in college he continued to broaden his musical knowledge and tighten his dj’ing skills by spinning gigs throughout the New England area. On the weekends Daniel can be found behind a set of decks at a wedding, private event, club, lounge, or bar, and he says that it never feels like work.
Partygoers are welcome to help stock St. Ann’s Pop-up Pantry by bringing canned tuna and peanut butter to donate in drop boxes that will be available throughout the event.
Put on your dancing shoes and come on out!
