Frank Pedulla, Trombone and Euphonium Player to Perform at
St. Ann’s Summer Music Concert Series
Frank Pedulla, trombone/bass trombone and euphonium player, will perform at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity’s weekly Summer Music Concert Series on Thursday, August 6, 5:30-6:00 pm. The concerts are held in the Peace Garden on Clinton Street, beside the church entrance at Montague and Clinton Streets in Brooklyn Heights. Musicians perform 30-minute sets in the newly landscaped garden for an audience of passersby invited to listen from the sidewalk while keeping safe social distance.
A freelance musician, Frank has a Bachelor of Music Performance and Master of Music Education degrees from Manhattan School of Music, a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School. He has appeared as soloist on various orchestra, band, chamber music, and recital concert programs, performing with over 50 different orchestras, concert bands, brass ensembles and big bands.
Frank has played Broadway and international show tours, and conducted various bands and orchestras. He is a musicians’ contractor, leader of the Music Staff Brass Ensemble, performing in churches, and founder and leader of the Music Staff Swing Orchestra, performing in Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island.
In addition to being a full-time performer, Frank is a music contractor, a brass instrument and music instructor, and a brass and woodwind musical instrument repairman.
St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church and Pro-Cathedral offers the weekly music-making series as a balm for a city of people on edge in the midst of continued uncertainty. The concerts are recorded and posted on the parish website for all who cannot attend to enjoy.
