April 28 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us for our new Sunday evening Taizé services this spring on April 28. All are welcome to this service of prayer and meditation in the style of worship practiced by the Taizé Community, an ecumenical monastic order of Roman Catholic and Protestant monks in central France. The small village of Taizé is one of the world’s most important sites of Christian pilgrimage. Each year thousands of people journey to Taizé to share in the community’s way of life. Prayer and silence are at the heart of the Taizé experience. Alex Pryrodny, director of music at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Huntington, New York, has been invited to plan the service and lead the music. Please join us!
The next Taizé services will take place on May 26, and June 23.
