March 24 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On Sunday, March 24, at 6:00 pm, all are welcome a service of prayer and meditation in the style of worship practiced by the Taizé Community, an ecumenical monastic order of Roman Catholic and Protestant monks in central France. Today the small village of Taizé is one of the world’s most important sites of Christian pilgrimage. Each year thousands of people journey to Taizé to share in the community’s way of life. Prayer and silence are at the heart of the Taizé experience. Alex Pryrodny, director of music at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Huntington, New York, has been invited to plan the service and lead the music. Please join us!.
