On Sunday, October 14, at 2:00 pm, renowned stained glass expert, Julie Sloan, will present a lecture entitled "Wrecked on the Coast of Color: William Jay Bolton and the Windows of St. Ann & the Holy Trinity.” Julie L. Songwriter Concert + New Scholarly Research on Mary Magdalene   Following up on our explorations of Mary Magdalene over the summer, St. Ann’s is thrilled to welcome Elizabeth “Libbie” Schrader for a performance and discussion Friday, October 1. After a long career as a singer/songwriter, Schrader transitioned to religious scholarship after writing a song about Mary Magdalene in 2011. Now a Ph.D. candidate in Early Christianity at Duke University, Schrader's research focuses on Mary Magdalene, textual criticism and feminist theology.
