The Rt. Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, former Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church and Primate in the worldwide Anglican Communion, has been named Feminist Scholar-in-Residence at Grace Church, Brooklyn Heights. She will be the speaker and workshop leader at a second annual day-long program titled “Women Leading Change Toward Abundant Life for All” held by Grace Church in cooperation with St. An.n & the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn Heights, the Mercer School of Theology in Garden City and All Saints in Park Slope. Grace Church is located at 254 Hicks Street

The bishop was the first woman presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church as well as the first and to date sole woman primate in the Anglican Communion.There will be a morning address by the bishop and an afternoon workshop. All are cordially invited to this event.

Registration is free and made through Eventbrite. Lunch is available for a contribution of $20, or you may bring your own.
