Right Reverend Lawrence C. Provenzano

Right Reverend Lawrence C. Provenzano

The Right Reverend Lawrence C. Provenzano, eighth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, was consecrated in September of 2009.

Bishop Provenzano serves on the House of Bishops’ Committee on Pastoral Development. He is an active member of Bishops United Against Gun Violence. He formerly served as President of Province II of the Episcopal Church and as a member of the Presiding Bishop’s Council of Advice. Prior to his consecration, Bishop Provenzano was rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Longmeadow, Massachusetts; rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in North Adams, Massachusetts; and priest-in-charge of Christ Episcopal Church in Westerly, Rhode Island. For ten years prior to becoming Bishop of Long Island, he served as the Chief Chaplain of the Massachusetts Corps of Fire Chaplains.

Received as an Episcopal priest in 1984, Bishop Provenzano holds a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York and a Master of Divinity from Christ the King Seminary. For two years before his ordination, he was a member of a religious community.

Ally Bonino Biography

In the spring of 2024, Ally made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning, history-making musical
Suffs, at the Music Box Theater. She originated the role of Lucy Burns, reprising it from her time at the historic Public Theater, where the show first made its world premiere in the spring of 2022.

She has appeared in the 50th-anniversary production of Leonard Bernstein’s Mass at The Kennedy Center, and spent two incredible weeks at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center workshopping
The Jordan and Avery Show, where she played the role of Jordan.

Other favorite credits include Myths & Hymns, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Dogfight, Merrily We Roll Along, and vocals for
John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch on Netflix.
