On Thursday, April 22, the Forum @ St. Ann’s partnered with KODA, a nonprofit arts organization, to present an Earth Day event, “Embodied Activism” by I.D.A. I.D.A is a dance, sound, and performance collective composed of Isabel Umali (dance), Dustin Carlson (music), and Ashley Menestrina (dance), who, with four invited musicians and performers, presented a sensorial experience focusing on healing, re-birth, human-to-human connection, and environmental justice. The performance took place in the gardens outside the church on Clinton Street and was enjoyed by a sizeable sidewalk audience. Click on an image for a slideshow.
