Once again, St. Ann’s Sunday School families and parishioners honored the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr. by joining nearly 400 volunteers for two days of service organized by Repair the World. Volunteers packed 3008 hygiene kits for the nonprofit organization Brooklyn Community Services on Sunday, January 15, and Monday, January 16. Brooklyn Community Services provides access to essentials and comprehensive support to our neighbors in need across Brooklyn. Repair the World’s stated mission is to mobilize Jewish and other communities, particularly young people, to take action for a just world and to pursue a commitment to service.
