Parishioner Beth Flynn and Elizabeth D. Herman, two New York Times photojournalists behind the 2019 book, The Women of the 116th Congress: Portraits of Power, discussed the project as well as its history and presented a slideshow of their power portraits. U.S. Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez (D-NY), was welcomed as a special guest speaker. Assemblywoman Jo Anne Simon was also an honored attendee.
