Sacred Conversation on Race
Sunday, October 30, 12:45 – 2:00 pm

A “Sacred Conversation on Race” will take place on Sunday, October 30, following the 11:15 am Holy Eucharist, facilitated once again by St. Ann’s Wisdom Year Resident, Dr. Matthew Burdette. Francesca Norsen Tate described the series and its context in her recent Brooklyn Eagle article.

We are motivated to host these occasional discussions by recent and ongoing incidents of violence and dignity violations against people of color, and our commitment as a community of faith to the inherent value of every person.

The conversations are intended to create a context in which people can speak and listen to one another, learn about one another’s experiences, and cooperate in addressing racism in the wider community.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
