St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church Hurricane Relief

[frame_left]Hurricane Relief[/frame_left] HOW YOU CAN HELP

The time has come to act in service to those most affected by Hurricane Sandy. The Episcopal Diocese of Long Island is collaborating with Episcopal Relief and Development to deliver much needed supplies to parishes in the most hard hit areas of Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk. They have asked that all diocesan churches with a Food Pantry ministry collect non-perishable food items. The effort at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity is underway. Please help if you can.

Drop off needed supplies here at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity, 157 Montague Street, Monday-Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Priorities are water, cleaning supplies, flashlights, batteries, and diapers. We will see to it that all donations are delivered to where they are most needed.

The following items have also been requested for those most hard hit in the wake of the storm:

Paper lunch bags
Juice boxes
Ziplock sandwich bags
Jelly
Peanut butter
Sliced Bread
Baby wipes
Baby formula
Batteries (especially size D, AA, AAA)
Hand sanitizer
Leather work gloves
Masks
Mops
Shovels
Brooms
Candles
Toiletries
Power strips
Extension cords
Bleach
Trash bags

Finally, our diocese is now set up to take online donations for hurricane relief at Support Episcopal Hurricane Relief. Also, remember to check the diocesan website where this link and other helpful information about hurricane relief is being posted and updated regularly.

Thank you for your generosity.
