Community Outreach

St. Ann’s Outreach Program has worked with community non-profit partners that assist New York’s needy, homeless, impoverished and hungry. The Outreach Committee schedules regular efforts throughout the year to which parishioners respond tirelessly and generously.

Recent Outreach projects have included:

  • making sandwiches for a homeless shelter every Sunday
  • collecting winter coats
  • volunteering at a soup kitchen
  • fulfilling children’s letters to Santa
  • contributing backpacks with school supplies for homeless children
  • donating toilet supplies and new underwear for a homeless shower project
  • supplying and maintaining St. Ann’s own Food Pantry for needy drop-ins  

St. Ann’s outreach has been proud to work with and assist the following organizations, whose programs seek to improve needy New Yorkers’ health, well being and quality of life:
